Reusable Dish Program
The Reusable Dish Program (RDP) is a service offered to U of A campus community members and more, providing reusable cutlery and dishes for events and programs. The service is free for those associated directly with the University of Alberta. For those that are not, there is a small fee ranging from $5 to $20 per user based on the number of items ordered.

Reusable Dish Program is open Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM.

About the Reusable Dish Program
Book Your Order
- For orders under 100 items, please book 1 week in advance
- For orders over 100 items, please book 2 weeks in advance
- Please click here to place an order with the RDP
Receive Confirmation
- Within five business days of placing your order with the RDP, the Coordinator will send you an email confirming or denying your request based on our inventory.
Pick Up Your Order
- Pick up your order at the InfoLink Desk in the lower level of the Students' Union Building (SUB)
Count Your Dishes
- Please ensure you have the correct number of dishes before pickup and before returning them. We want to limit human error as much as possible, and make the experience rewarding for everyone.
Return Your Order
- Please return your order to 0-78 SUB with the assistance of the InfoLink Desk in the lower level of the Students' Union Building (SUB)
- Please return all items rinsed of all food remnants, and without any items missing.
- Large Orders - $20 deposit for every 100 items
- Missing Dishes - $5 per dish missing
- Dirty Dish Returns - $5 for every 100 items in your order
- Late Returns - $5 for every day late
- External Organizations - $5 for orders under 50 items, $10 for 50-99 items and $20 for every 100 items in your order
Unless stated otherwise our dishes are made of food-safe polypropylene and are safe for hot food items.

- Blue and Green cups (Capacity - 1.5 cups / 355ml / 12oz)
- Black bowls (Capacity - 1.5 cups / 355ml / 12oz)
- Blue bowls (Capacity - 2 cups / 500ml / 16oz)
- Green and Gold appetizer bowls (Capacity - 0.5 cups / 125ml / 4oz)
- Orange salad bowls (Capacity - 1.5 cups / 355ml / 12oz) (Made of Melamine plastic not microwave safe)
