Students' Union Membership Fees (2025/2026)
All undergraduate students are members of the Students' Union. As a member of the UASU, your membership fee gets you access to a ton of benefits like student services, access to student spaces, great events, student-friendly pricing at our businesses, and so much more.
At this time, Students’ Council has decided not to assess UASU membership fees to off-campus and Spring/Summer students at Augustana.

Per-Term Dedicated Fees
As an undergrad, you also pay Dedicated Fees for certain services that help enhance your university experience. These fees were created by student referenda, and are separate from the UASU membership benefits listed above. They can’t be raised or lowered by more than 15% except through another referendum of the general student body.
Some of these fees are administered by the Students’ Union. To simplify the process and reduce further costs to students, the UASU also collects these fees–many of which you can opt out of–on behalf of the various services (or Dedicated Fee Units) for disbursement.

Student Representative Association Membership Fees (2025/2026)
Additional fees may be collected on behalf of Student Representative Associations. These fees are currently assessed for students in a number of faculties and for international student status.

Residence Association Fees
When you move into your residence, you become a member of your Residence Association. A membership fee may be applied to your Residence Account upon acceptance of your Room Offer or at the beginning of the academic semester.
All residents are entitled to opt out of participating in their residence association and would be entitled to a refund of the fee.
*Students moving into residence are only charged residence fees in the semester that they move in.
