Volunteer Registry

Your Campus Connection

Description:

This international volunteer project will support a village school in Boset District, Kampong Speu Province. This is a primary and secondary school with about 2,000 students coming from the surrounding communities.

The classrooms' condition is quite shabby and can be considered unsafe for students and teachers. Therefore, the school needs help in making renovations and improvement.

At the same time, there is no English class running in the school curriculum. The international volunteers are expected to teach English to the students and help them experience intercultural learning, as well as have professional exchange with the teachers.

Activities of the project:
• Work and interaction with local children and teenagers using English language
• Teaching English to children at the school
• Organizing cultural exchange activities and games for the students
• Promoting global education among students
• Help in the renovation, construction and painting of school facilities
• Learning about Cambodian culture from local people and volunteers

• Visiting villages to explore and experience real life of local communities
