...a student-centric organization that serves as a strong advocate for students at all levels of government and at the university. We provide access to a range of businesses designed to appeal to student needs, and offer a variety of student services to meet the needs of all of our members. We also operate the Students' Union Building.

Access Fund
A bursary program funded by undergraduate students through a portion of their SU fees. We are here to help students who have exhausted other traditional resources. If you are in financial need, come visit us and see if you are eligible to apply.
After U
A program designed to prepare students for the transition from the academic environment of University to their life after undergrad. We facilitate learning for students and connect them with University Alumni and resources on campus.
Awards
Each year the SU recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions to the campus community. If you have helped change your campus or community, you could be eligible for an SU Award.

Campus Food Bank
We distribute food hampers and toiletries to all members of the University community—students (graduate and undergraduate), staff, alumni and their families. We also provide referrals to other services that may be of use to our clients.
Health and Dental Plan
A service that covers things not covered by Alberta Health and other provincial plans, such as prescription drugs, dental care and eye exams. Students may choose to customize their coverage or opt-out during the Change-of-Coverage Period.
InfoLink: Academic and Information Services
Your information source on campus. We specialize in academic information, but are able to assist you with any U of A related question. Our online services include the Tutor Registry, the Exam Registry and our Volunteer Listings.
Jobkin Job Registry
Use our registry to find student-friendly part-time and summer work. Search by area, type of work and rate of pay to find the options that best suit you. Jobs are posted by both the Students' Union and by local employers. It's free for students to search!
OmbudService
A confidential service that strives to ensure that university processes related to students operate as fairly as possible. We offer information, advice, and support with student academic, discipline, interpersonal, and financial issues.
Orientation
Providing transition programs for both high school students and mature students who are new to the University of Alberta. The programs are facilitated by over 500 student volunteers.
Peer Support Centre
Life on campus is hard, and feeling overwhelmed is understandable. If you're dealing with exam stress, are in an unhealthy or abusive relationship, having thoughts of suicide, or would like to talk something out, please drop in or give us a call.
Renting Spaces Housing Registry
Our registry provides off-campus housing search services to participating schools and to the public. Try us out!
Safewalk
A free service that is a safe and reliable alternative to walking alone at night. We walk and take public transit with you within our boundaries, and will also walk you within five blocks of any LRT station.
Student Financial Aid Information Centre (SFAIC)
We help you find whatever funding options you need to meet your educational goals. We are student loan specialists for all provinces and territories.
Student Group Services
The central location for anything related to the over 400 registered academic and co-curricular clubs on campus. We can provide you with information about how to start a new club or get involved with an existing one.
Sustain SU: The Student Sustainability Service
A student service designed to promote sustainability on campus. We strive to educate and involve the campus community regarding the ecological, social and economic aspects of sustainability.

Cram Dunk
Freshness at its finest! Donuts, muffins, scones and cookies are made fresh everyday—all at a price affordable to students. Our staff take pride in the tastiest donuts in Edmonton. Start your day off right with a steaming fair-trade organic coffee from Cram Dunk. We also have a selection of premium blended teas, and creamy hot chocolate. Cram Dunk is open early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Dewey's

Juicy
Come to Juicy for a tasty and convenient way to get your daily nutrients. Juicy offers a wide variety of fresh-fruit smoothies and nutritional supplements. Our smoothies are made with real fruit, low-fat sorbet or yogurts, concentrated juices and are blended to order. Or treat yourself with an old fashioned ice cream milkshake or cone. For a quick lunch try one of our pressed sandwiches and soup. Juicy is open early mornings, evenings and weekends.
L'Express
Homemade goodness at a great price—that's L'Express. We offer a wide selection from homemade hearty meals and soups, to our chocolate brownies, butter tarts, pizza by the slice, suchi or just good old fashioned sandwiches. We also provide professional catering services for any size of group, and can deliver across campus. It's all here with great friendly service!
Room at the Top
On the 7th floor of the Students' Union Building, Room at the Top offers a spectacular view of campus and the Edmonton skyline. Choose from one of 16 beers on tap, from our very own Wicked Panda to a selection of micro brews to full-bodied Guinness. Take in any of the Oilers, Eskimos or University sports events on one of our big screens. Room at the Top also boasts a full menu for meals and snacks: burgers, fries, sandwiches and appetizers. We also include a selection of vegetarian and vegan options.
SUBprint
Located on the lower level of the Students' Union Building, SUBprint provides printing and photocopying services for students, staff and the community alike. Services include photocopying and digital printing in both black and white and full colour. Scanning and binding services are also available.
SUBtitles
SUBtitles is the Students' Union's used bookstore, located on the lower level of SUB. SUBtitles provides a year-round textbook consignment service and, in conjunction with the University of Alberta Bookstore, will pay cash for certain textbooks. We also provide a selection of University of Alberta crested eco-friendly clothing and giftware.
SUBmart
SUBmart is the Students' Union's convenience store. We are located on the main floor of the Students' Union Building. SUBmart provides a variety of products including lottery, phone cards, newspapers, snacks, refrigerated and frozen food items, stationery supplies, and a wide selection of U of A crested merchandise. Services provided include custom screen printing and embroidery and picture, poster and degree framing.
Your 2011-2012 SU Executives
Student Government Represents You.
Representing over 30,000 undergraduate students, the Students' Union is run by and for students. An elected Students' Council and executive are responsible for all governing decisions. Meetings of Students' Council are open to all members unless moved in-camera to deal with confidential business.
Executive positions are full-time jobs, and are paid positions. Students' Council positions are volunteer positions distributed on a faculty population basis.
