Leadership Education and Development Centre

Welcome to Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Centre! Here you can explore the leadership development opportunities that are offered through the Students’ Union.

There are main areas of leadership development that we offer:

  • The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is a three-day course that introduces leadership theories and best practices for student leaders.

  • Stride Campaign School is a free program for students of marginalized genders interested in learning about or getting involved with student governance.

  • The Foundations Summit for Sustainability & Leadership (FSSL) is a 1-day national conference for post-secondary and high school students.

  • The Indigenous Leadership Program (ILP) is a four-part program for First Nations, MĂ©tis, and Inuit students that seeks to strengthen leadership processes in alignment with Indigenous world views.

  • On-Demand Training which provides training for various groups on campus looking to learn more about leadership, conflict, facilitation, and so much more.
