ReThink
We believe that education about issues and choices is a key component in the shift to a sustainable future.
Rethink
Rethink is Sustain SU's education and awareness project, generated to provide a forum for volunteers` exploration of different ways to raise public awareness and discourse of sustainability, and to enhance sustainability on campus. Campus Sustainability Volunteers working on this project create short sustainability-oriented videos that are posted on YouTube, write fun facts on visible whiteboards around campus, deliver workshops to the campus community, and manage the Infolink recycling program, as described below.
Documentary Nights
Starting March 2nd, 2017, Sustain SU will be screening documentary films in SUB Thursday evenings starting at 5pm.
Workshops
Sustain SU does not have regular workshops. All upcoming workshops and events are posted here. Please direct inquiries to sustain@su.ualberta.ca
Our workshops aim to:
- Educate students about the concept of sustainability and the contemporary issues that inform the sustainability movement.
- Provide students with tangible means incorporate sustainability into their university experience.
- Encourage students to brainstorm and commit to ways to make more sustainable lifestyle choices.
These presentations are great for student groups, associations, floor in residence, staff community, fraternity, sorority or any group of people you can gather.SU. We have presented to and are happy to present to as few as 4 people, and as many as 40.
