Our workshops are a great way to gain a better understanding of how to use and stay safe with various tools while meeting other Habitat volunteers. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with all types of basic tools used on HFH build sites.

As a member of the Special Events Team, you will be able to choose the occasions which best suit your location and availability. Tasks may include setting up food tables, watching over a golf tournament hole, BBQs, customer appreciation days, wrapping Christmas presents, helping at information booths, handing out brochures and more.

Work Experience volunteers commit to 10 shifts at either our build sites or in our ReStores. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate detailing the hours you volunteered, including comments on work ethic and skills learned.
