Volunteer Registry

Your Campus Connection

Description:

It is a natural habit of human being to want to learn and experience many new things. Volunteers also would like to get more experience as it will be useful for their future. Normally a volunteer does an activity in one fixed project during the period of service. Recently we found that some very motivated volunteers would like to learn about and experience various fields during their stay in Indonesia. For these volunteers, we offer an opportunity to do not just one but several projects based on their interests. This is a good chance for volunteers to have more and various experiences to do different projects and activities. Volunteers can choose to do 2 or 3 mixed projects in the same time; for example first month at school, then second month at an orphanage, first two weeks with animals, then third-forth weeks teaching at a kindergarten, etc. Volunteers may propose their preference of projects based on their interest so that they can explore more about Indonesian lifestyle.

Volunteers may choose a combination of 2 or 3 projects during the period of service based on their interest. This is a free choice program. Volunteers will have different tasks based on the project they choose (teaching, assisting local staff, taking care of animals, farming). The volunteers' help will be very much appreciated by Indonesian people as well as the interaction and the cultural exchange.

Duration of the project: The volunteer placements are from 4 to 8 weeks. Arrival should be on Monday.
