Volunteer Registry

Your Campus Connection

Description:

This Learning Center in Kampot province was established in 2014 to provide alternative education which helps to complement the gaps in public school such as English language and computer classes. There are 328 students enrolled in the English and computer classes. A library has been opened for students to have extra activities besides the classroom. The center hosts more than 150 international volunteers and engages about 50 nationals every year.
Since 2016, the center started to expand its programs on sustainable development to support students’ families by producing local natural products and sustainable agriculture products. Join us to make a difference in the community!

In this project, international volunteers will gain a great experience working side by side with national volunteers. They will be involved in various activities such as teaching English and computers, organizing library activities, participating in vegetable planting, making natural soap, and joining activities with the local people.

Benefits:

Participating in an international short term volunteer project (so called Workcamp) can be an exciting prospect. It is an interesting and meaningful way to travel with purpose and spend 2-3 weeks in a foreign environment. Working and living together with other volunteers from around the world provides an excellent opportunity to make many new friends, learn about unknown places and culture, gain new skills and experience. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm can make a difference in areas where help is really needed.
After successful participation CADIP issues a certificate for the completed volunteer hours.
