Support education and community improvement programs in Siem Reap.
The volunteers will work with an education center which aims at providing free alternative education for children and teenagers, providing local youth chances to learn languages, computer, and to have access to global education/information through internet and a library and to have their first chance to meet and interact with different people from different cultures and backgrounds from around the world.

Volunteers will contribute to interactive language classes for the children, and handy support in construction projects, enabling the convenience of both teaching and learning. Their tasks include:
• Community challenging and mapping: This activity will prepare volunteers for better understanding and learning about the community.
• Teaching English and computers to students and organizing reading activities for them.
• Participating in construction and gardening activities at the education center.

Leisure time: Siem Reap is the place of the famous heritage site Angkor Wat - the largest religious monument in the world. There are also natural attraction sites in the area such as Kulen national park, Tonle Sap lake, and more, which you can visit in your free time.

Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in the volunteer house in the village. There is a local market just in front of the accommodation where you can enjoy your free time.

Participating in an international short term volunteer project (so called Workcamp) can be an exciting prospect. It is an interesting and meaningful way to travel with purpose and spend 2-3 weeks in a foreign environment. Working and living together with other volunteers from around the world provides an excellent opportunity to make many new friends, learn about unknown places and culture, gain new skills and experience. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm can make a difference in areas where help is really needed.
After successful participation CADIP issues a certificate for the completed volunteer hours.
