Applications for long term storage are currently closed. They will reopen later in the spring. In the meantime, you can now request short term storage! The Student Group Office program is still suspended.
When we have further updates to this program, they will be communicated through the SGS Newsletter. You can make sure you are subscribed to the newsletter here.
If your student group is recognized by the SU then you are eligible for student group storage access! All the lockers are located in the basement level of SUB, and contracts are signed on a short or long term basis.

Long Term Storage Space Rentals
Looking for somewhere to store your group’s supplies for events or general operations? Got a ton of group resources and nowhere to keep them? Consider renting a long term storage locker! Long term storage is rented on a monthly basis. Please note that you cannot store food or drink in long term storage.

Applications for storage typically open in May, and groups can begin moving in in June. Groups will be expected to move out of their storage locker by the end of April.
How to apply for long term storage space:
1. Log into BearsDen using your CCID
2. Click on the tab labelled "Forms"
3. Choose the form labelled "2023-24 Student Group Storage Space Application"
4. Fill it out and click SUBMIT
5. DONE!
Once SGS staff have confirmed that your group is eligible for storage, we will reach out and provide you with payment information. Your group will need to come sign a long term rental contract at the Student Life Central desk to confirm your rental.
Short Term Storage Space Rentals
Are you running an event and need somewhere to keep your supplies for a bit? Got a Coca-Cola Activation Fund order you need to store temporarily? Then short term storage rentals may be the answer for you! Short term storage can be rented for up to 20 business days and sealed food or beverages can be kept in these lockers.

Groups with a Coca Cola Activation Fund order arriving before their event can rent a short term storage locker for free for 5 or less business days.
How to apply for short term storage space:
Interested in a short term rental? Email clubs@su.ualberta.ca or stop by the Student Life Central desk to talk to an SGS coordinator! Once SGS staff have confirmed that your group is eligible for storage, we will reach out and provide you with payment information, along with the short term rental agreement for you to read over. Your group will need to come sign a rental form at the Student Life Central desk to confirm your rental.
