Student Group Services presents: The SGS Spotlight!

We are always looking for submissions to the SGS spotlight! Long after Clubs Fairs pass, we know there are still clubs doing great things and looking for fabulous new members and volunteers, and we want to share them with the world! Submit a short description of an upcoming activity or volunteer opportunity, or even just general information about what your club does on campus and in the community to get folks buzzing about you!

Why submit to the SGS spotlight?

While we are happy to share and re-post articles and content that groups tag us in on social media, the fact of the matter is that original content gets more views and attention on social media algorithms and onto followers' timelines! We want to get more posts out there to help promote your clubs in the best way.

Where will my group be featured if I submit to the Spotlight program?

Each club that applies for the spotlight will be featured in a Facebook post, Instagram posts, a BearsDen News article (just like this one!), and at least three Tweets over the course of a week on SGS' social media. The SGS staff in charge of the Spotlight will inform you when your content is going to be featured through the BearsDen form approval tool.

All Spotlight posts are tagged with #SGSspotlight, #ualberta -- look for them on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!
