Engineering Team Facilitators
Megan Forbes

Hey everyone! My name is Megan and I am a proud Engineering Team Facilitator for Orientation 2012! I know you’re all busy people, so here are some quick facts about me…efficiently listed in point form:
- This is my third year volunteering with orientation, but my first year as a TF!
- I am in my third year of Mechanical Engineering, and hope to focus my degree on aerodynamics in my fourth year.
- I have the ability to make a startlingly convincing monkey face (see above).
- Grilled cheese is my mortal weakness.
- I am completely terrified of sharks.
- Elf is one of my favorite movies, and I feel it is perfectly acceptable to watch it year round.
- I credit Post-It notes and a well-organized agenda for what’s left of my sanity.
Simply put, Orientation is awesome and the best. I can’t wait to see everyone there!
Brooklynn Knowles

Howdy y'all! I'm Brooklynn and I am a third year mechanical engineer. I've been an Orientation Leader for the last two years and this year I am super excited to be a TF! Facts about me...I have a cat named Santa Claws. My favorite food would be, well anything really. I am a recovering reality TV addict, although sometimes I cave to watch The Bachelor. I cannot wait for Orientation 2012, it's guaranteed to be AMAZING!
Keri Mead

Hello! My name is Keri Mead and I am a 3rd year Electrical Engineering student. In typical nerd fashion I love math and making tiny circuits while hoping nothing catches fire. My pets are somehow both named after famous politicians; George is a kitty and Winston a wee pup. I couldn't live without macaroni and cheese or Earl Grey tea and I am way too fond of Starbucks. The past two years I have volunteered for Orientation as an engineering OL and this year I am very excited to be a TF! I absolutely can't wait to meet some amazing new people. I hope to see you there!
Phil Morin

There once was a guy named Phil
who loved anything flavoured like dill:
popcorn, potato chips, pickles and pizza dips.
This guy was not run-of-the-mill.
He dreamed of being an engineer
in a land not-so-far away from here.
Mec E his game
(‘cuz the others are lame)
He spent all his free time drinking… water.
He embarked on a dangerous quest
to slay the menacing R.O.U.S.
The nurses would sigh,
want him as their guy,
to hear him tell them “As you wish”
Returning successful in glory,
bringing an end to this story.
For the fun-loving nation:
Orientation!?
Blah blah something rhyming with “story”.
