What is the Co-Curricular Record?
Going to university is about more than racking up 120 credits.
The Co-Curricular Record is an institutionally recognized document, with verification by an official supervisor, listing involvements in various developmental activities while at the University of Alberta. It is an official record of your student engagement and student leadership involvement.
You can use the Co-Curricular Record as a tool to support employment applications and interviews. applications to graduate programs, and scholarship and awards packages.
The Co-Curricular Record recognizes:
- Student Group Leadership
- On-Campus Employment
- Student Governance
- Honours and Awards
- Residence Life
- and other exciting student experiences!
How it works
Its so easy! You don't even have to update or maintain your own Co-Curricular Record, the organizations you are involved with will do that for you!

If you are a student group, check out the Co-Curricular Information Document on our BearsDen page for more info. Student Group Services and the Co-Curricular record work together to ensure that all leaders of student groups are recognized! All groups registered with SGS are eligible to be recognized, including Students' Union groups, Graduate Student Association groups, and/or University groups.
