Student Group Services Leadership Summit

(Edmonton, AB) — "Imagine," the Student Group Services Leadership Summit, will take place on Friday, September 26th, from 4:30 – 9:30pm, and Saturday, September 27th, from 9am – 5:30pm.

"Imagine" will include seminars on general Executive orientation, risk management, marketing, using the web for your group, greening your operations, communicating across cultures, team dynamics, advocacy, event planning, membership recruitment/retention, social justice group specific forums, networking opportunities and financial governance information. The deadline for registration is September 22nd at 5pm.

Registration forms will be available in the Student Group Services office starting on Thursday, September 2nd, and a 20$ deposit will be required upon registration — which will take place in 2-900 SUB.

If two Executives of a student group attend the Summit, the group will potentially be eligible for twice the $1500 granting cap.

This Summit will be a great opportunity to develop and refine leadership skills, and to help Executives do the best possible job in their positions. All student group Executive members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
