InterD Conference

In its recently launched strategic plan, [For the Public Good][1], the University of Alberta committed to “engage across disciplines, campuses, faculties, and units to create interdisciplinary learning experiences for our students that prepare them to face the complex nature of today’s challenges and workplaces.” In support of that goal, the Students’ Union is partnering with the Office of the Provost to host the InterD Conference.

The inaugural one-day conference took place on February 4, 2017, and explored the theme of “Innovation in Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Education.”
